The ethical mission of a Saf organic t-shirt doesn't end with the benefits to the cotton farmers and the environment. The organic cotton then needs to be turned into the finished article. Step up the fabric cutters, sewers and pressers. These are the people charged with creating quality Saf organic clothing. Saf acknowledges the importance of everyone involved in the production of our clothing, and works to secure their rights to decent working conditions and a fair wage.
That’s why we only work with factories fully certified to provide these decent working conditions. These accreditations ensure that decent conditions are provided in the areas of:
- Health and safety
- Decent working hours and breaks
- The right to form and join unions
- Decent sanitary facilities
- Non discrimination in employment and treatment at work
- Fair wages
